These days you can often find her lost in her imagination, trying to capture the magic of her own worlds. When she’s not writing, she’s busy arguing with her feisty German Shepherd, Minerva, and attempting to train her adorable pound puppies, Pomona and Severus.

My fur babies enjoyed Halloween this year. They dressed up as their favorite DC superheroes, along with their bestie Brodie. The Super Fur-ends, from left to right, are Minerva as Wonder Woman, Brodie (Charlie Cochet's pup) as Batman, Severus as Robin, and Pomona as Supergirl.

My three fur babies (L to R: Minerva, Pomona, Severus) were tied for Pet of the Week at their daycare. Minerva enjoys playing Frisbee and ball, Pomona prefers to hunt lizards and squirrels, while Severus just likes being a potato.

Minnie has decided that the fluffy unicorn ball is her baby. She carries it around and won't lay down on her bed unless she has it! How cute is that?

I took a short vacation with a few of my best friends. It was amazing and my favorite part was when I swam with a dolphin. It was indescribable and the most amazing thing I've done in my life!
